Inflammation is a complex biological response to pathogens or irritants and is characterised by redness, swelling, heat and pain. Preclinical models have been developed to mimic both acute and chronic inflammatory disease; Axis Bio offers a range of models to cover each disease state. In addition to testing compounds in well-characterised, validated models, Axis Bio also offers clients the opportunity to develop models tailored to their specific needs.

During your study we will measure physiological outcomes associated with that disease, however we can also offer added value to your study by measuring relevant biomarkers, backed up by histopathology.
